Most people enjoy a drink. Some people can however find that alcohol begins to take a hold in their lives.
Some people can find that they use alcohol to cope with stress or can find that they can’t stop drinking once they have started. Others can put themselves at risk when under the influence of alcohol.
Some people use alcohol to ‘squash down’ other problems; they drink to help them cope with depression or coping with a trauma, relationship breakdown and so forth.
Problems with alcohol can be as severe as dependence, but can also be related to how we behave under the influence of alcohol.
